How to install network driver?

OK so I was having problems with my Dell Inspiron 8600 and my dad decided to reinstall windows. Now I do not have the network driver install and I don't know how to fix it. I don't have the disk for my my router (linksys) and I am not able to connect to the internet to download anything. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

You'll have to use another computer.  Go to the Dell site and download the driver.  (You'll need your computer's serial number.)  Put it on a CD or a flash drive, bring it to your commputer and install it.

You will have:

1) If you are using LAN (hard line to the computer) you are going to have to go to dell support website and download the drivers for the ethernet card in your pc (it could be directly fused the the motherboard, or a removable part). Go to dell and download the ethernet drivers.

2) You do not drivers for the router since its operating system independent (it has everything it needs right on its chip). So need to worry about it. Everything should be there if you do type:  192.168.1.1 in to you browser.
