Install it in a central living area of your house.  Follow manufacturers specs on floor protection, venting and outside air, space requirements and electrical requirements.  If your house is fairly tight then outside air for proper combustion is essential.  Don't direct vent the stove by running the vent pipe horizontally through the wall, immediately into a vent cap.  The vent pipe needs to go up above the roof.
