How to instock at target?

Question

I just got a job at target as an instock person. I dont really know what that is and how to do it. SO whoever knows what it is let me know so i have an idea of what i am getting myself into.

I work on the instock team and while you probably will be stocking shelves, your main job is to find outs (shelves that are out of items) and scan them into the system with a pda so that the backroom people can get them out onto the floor (this is the part when you might be doing the stocking).  You will probably also do something called research, which is where you go around the store to various items and count how many are left.  By doing this you are telling the system which items to order from the main target warehouse, so you have to be fairly accurate with your counting.
