I have a friend, let's say his name is Brett. He's told me about a friend of his, Sandra, whom I should meet. This is all e-mail friends, mind you. Brett has told me Sandra has gone through a lot of the things I have and I should e-mail her sometime. We had a fight months ago about how I didn't want any help from someone who went through this as well. But now I feel like giving it a chance, without involving Brett. I wanna know if Sandra is really what I've been told that she is. I'm almost gonna say, I found your e-mail on my MSN friends list, who are you? I CAN'T THINK OF A WAY TO INTRODUCE MYSELF! But without getting Brett involved! Please help

  1. Tell her that a friend of yours and hers said she's been throught some things that you have as well and suggest that you email her.

  2. Why don't you just tell her you got her email from a friend but don't say who? Then you won't look like a stalker.

  3. Just say you heard about her, and have a lot in common.

  4. Hello Sandra,

My name is [Your name] How are you? My friend told me about you. [Friends name]

  5. Just say, A friend of mine told me about you, and made you sound really interesting. I just wanted to get to know you. So, I'm Cassie

( Example) I was just wondering if we could e-mail each other sometimes. Would that be okay with you?

                 -Cassie

I hope this helps! If she asks who the friend is, just say that you aren't allowed to say...
