How to jam a door.?

Question

I have a door with no lock on it and i was wondering how could i make it so no one could open it. I dont really want to block it with furniture. i was thinking mroe of jaming the door with an object so somone couldnt open it.

If you have a chair that you can prop under the door k**b or handle do that. also you can jam folded up paper under the

door itself. Stuff it in really tight and it will jam the door.

A piece of wood small 2x4 under k**b or handle. The other ideas above are good also. Just make sure You can get out in an emergency...    :)

Put a nail in the wall about 6 inches from the door k**b, then use twine to tie around the k**b and the nail. Instant lock. Or, just go to the hardware store and buy a slide or chain latch. They're only a couple dollars. For about $15, you can buy a keyed doorknob for the room.
