How to join olympics?

I have been wondering about going to the olympics for javelin im 14 now ill be 18 when the next olympics come. buy how do you join the team do you go to trials or is it a club that you go to that chooses you to go someone pleas help.

btw i do not go to any club

go to club and there meets like conference, regionals, nationals to get exposure and recognition if good enough...good luck
