How to juggle two casual jobs?

I'm currently working casually about 4-10 hours a week, i want to get a full time job but there isn't many available down here. So it would prob be easier to get a second job. Id prefer part time but again, most places down here hire casuals.

How can i tell my availability to both employers when both are likely to roster me on any day of the week at any time? (my current employer rosters me at odd days and times)

  1. Take it from me. spend you time figuring out how you can get a high paid job rather than 2 part time jobs. when you spend all you time working, you do not have time to figure out the more crucial details of your career plans.

  2. I'm assuming that you've asked your current boss for more hours, right?

If so then you should talk to your supervisor at your current job.  Ask if you can get set hours during the week or set days off at least.  If you don't want to tell them you're getting another job, say you're taking a night class or two at the local community college or whatever.

Then tell your other supervisor that you can't work certain times because of...whatever...babysitting, college, etc.  For some reason they don't like to share employees between jobs, but most bosses are ok with other activities.
