  1. By bending your bridge arm and bringing your head closer, you allow for a longer follow through with your grip arm.  Basically, you want to try to maximize the speed of your cue in order to execute a jump shot.  A jump cue with a hard tip helps.  Here are some good references:

  2. Hit the bottom of the cue ball and it jumps everytime.

  3. It like u are spearing a fish,,,bout 45-50 degrees angle with a quick jab,,,hard to describe here,,,sorry,,,hope that helps

  4. Jumping is one of those things that's best learned by having someone show you in person. If you know someone who can jump, ask them to help you learn.

The mistake most people make is they do not hit the cue ball below it's equator relative to the cue and trap the ball on the table. What I mean is, if you extend an invisible line through the cue ball in the direction the cue is pointing, this line must be below the center of the cue ball. This does not mean to scoop up on the ball, you just have to make sure the cue is not getting in the way of the ball popping into the air.

  5. Get a running start at it then when you get right to it lift both feet
