How to just valves on a 52 ferguson 30 tractor??

my dads tractor is messed up and the valves need to be justed so help me thank u and site how u know to

Remove the side plate on the block. The valve stems lifters and adjusters are all in sight.

turn cam until valves open up, then adjust exaust and intake to settings required
