How to keep a cat off the couch?

my cat pees on our couch and ive treated it with natures miracle and she did it in another spot on the couch. how go i keep her off the couch?

I love my cat, but if she does something selfish I swat her with a rolled up magazine or something and yell NO! I spoil her rotten and expect her to observe the few rules I have. It will get the point, or just a very loud AHT! will get the point across. You have to catch it in the act though.

is she spayed? if not that could be a cause. Have you taken her to the vet to make sure she doesn't have a UTI?

Put a whole bunch of double sided sticky tape... they hate it. As soon as she jumps up there, her paws will stick and she'll jump right back down.

Cats are clean creatures of habit and when they go outside the box there's usually a good reason.  A likely cause is a UTI.  It would be a good idea to have her checked by the vet.  If that's what's causing it, she'll probably stop once she's no longer in pain.

If not, or if that isn't her problem, then a Sofa Scram is a good choice.
