I'm going to be installing four 6X9's in boxes on the rear deck lid. I dont want to drill or destroy the deck lid so I need some good ideas how to keep them from sliding around without destroying the deck lid.

  1. put carpet on the bottom of the speaker box. this will create friction with the other carpet and thus not letting the speaker box slide.

    Hope i could help!

  2. Velcro

  3. lol i had this problem my box kept flipping in the trunk so i put 2 screws on both sides and tied it whit one of those streachy ropes

  4. like someone said - My subwoofer is not sliding when fully layered by carpet, and carpet is on the bottom of trunk.

  5. velcro is good but you can also use those rubber type place mats
