How to keep cat away from tank?

Question

I have my tank as high as I can put it, and I can not put it in a seperate room. I dont want my cat jumping on the top and breaking the screen. Any ideas?

My friend has a cat and if the tank has a lid it won't get in. His cat sleeps on the tank soemtimes.

Well you can stand books up on the top of the tank for now so the top of the tank looks higher than it really is. And deter her by keeping a waterbottle near by and saying No clearly while spritzing her before she jumps! She'll learn pretty dang quick to leave the tank alone. =)

i had that problem.

spray something called bitter end around it and get a thicker screen. it worked for me

I had that problem but I just got a spray bottle and whenever he would jump on a cage I sprayed him.  It worked very well I haven't had him jump on one of my reptiles cages in a few months.
