Every night when I go into the basement I have about five crickets that I kill. I was wondering if there was something I could spray or pour around the house to stop them from entering the home.

We also get crickets in our basement from time to time. Any good bug spray (or shoe) should kill them. I have also found that controlling the humidity level in the basement is very important as it reduces the fungi they can feed on. We have a fairly large basement and run two dehumidifiers down there from spring to fall, sometimes they pull as much as 4-5 gallons of water from the air a day.

  2. you could call a bug control company...they could tell you something
