How to keep flies (and other flying things) out of your home?

I keep my home clean and free of anything that grows flies (rotten fruit etc) out my home, but it seems like there is always a fly or mosquito my house! i try to close the door when not in use and not leave it long open but they always find their way in! how can I stop this? or eliminates once they are in. or anything because i really hate flies!

No matter how hard you may try, if the front door is open

for even a minute, isn't it funny how some flying bug, be

it a moth, fly, etc. find its way in ! Same at my house!

All the windows are screened tight, and I have screen

doors, but if someone or myself keeps it open for longer

than 15 seconds, you can bet a flying insect will find its

way in! I do not like flies either, so when I end up with one

bugging me, I either wack it dead with a fly swatter, or if

you spray it with hair spray, that will slow it down enough

to swat it with ease.

I've read to hang fresh basil in muslim cloths as that repels

flies, but I have not tried it yet. I use the swatter.

If you have a screen they could be coming in through a imperfection, you have some type of hole in your house where they are coming from.  That would reall stink if there was a nest in your house.
