Question:

How to keep from getting bored while living alone?

I am going to be moving into my own apartment in about a month. I lived alone for a short time when I was in college and I loved it, but now that I'm not in school I'm really afraid I'm going to get bored and lonely, especially since I just broke up with my boyfriend! The apartment is in a beautiful secluded area right on the water, but isn't within walking distance to anything.

If you live alone, what do you do to stay occupied? I don't think I can have a dog, but I do have a nice cat to keep me company, but that's about it.

Thanks!

  1. I like to spend time huntng for vulnerable chicks on the internet who want to have random s*x.  I find it takes up alot of time and keeps me fully occupied.

  2. try like buying a game or ask your friends to come over i am sure you have fun twister is a fun and good game :)

  3. go out and try to meet people... dont u still talk to ur friends from college

  4. try collecting old books to read

    taking photos

    clean up the place

or get a game system (wii or ps2)

  5. I get involved in church ,watch tv, hang out with my friends, talk to my mom, read the Bible adn other things, involve myself in the community, and just get out and hang out with friends, don't make yourself stay at home, but if you do, here are some suggestions.

  6. When I lived alone I'd add social things to my regular schedule of activities (housecleaning, laundry, errands, shopping). If I wasn't going to meet with or go out with someone, I'd set up things to do by myself: letter writing, reading, dancing (love loud music), drawing, watching movies.

If you really have too much time to fill, consider doing a little volunteer work, then you'll add extra rest time to your schedule as well.

    Best wishes, congratulations!
