How to keep my eyes open in salt water longer?

is there something or way i can keep my eyes open longer in beach water. is there something i can put in my eyes for a sulution. help please. answer please.

I think that you have to "train" your eyes for it, you have to get used to salt water and open your eyes with out being afraid of it. I have swam in really salty beaches with my eyes open and it is just about getting used.

I don't think you should do that, my friend, who teaches swimming for a few years already, swam without goggles in her early swimming years and now she's c**k eyed

you probably want to invest in a pair of goggles. i swim in the ocean a lot, but while pool water is fine, i could never really deal with having my eyes open underwater without goggles on. it's the salt, it just kills your eyes.
