Question:

How to keep my hair away from my industrial piercing?

I pin it back, it doesn't work too well cause I have really choppy hair, annoyingly short in random places, including strands near my piercing. The sea salt soaks have become a pain because I use a bowl, and a bit of hair gets wet, and it all gets frizzy. Once school starts, this is gonna suck. Any tips?

  1. maybe you should put your hair up in sections. like in fours since your hair is choppy. but for a look going out you should clipping the choppy parts up or try a bump in your hair. btw how was the industrial piercing i've been DYING  to get it :)

  2. I had this same problem, and still deal with it every day.

I have an industrial in both ears so...yeah it can really suck sometimes.

I bought one of those head bands (one of the ones meant to hold hair out of your face not put it up) and I would put it on right behind my ears, it keeps all the little strands at bay.

As far as sea salt soaks, if your worried about getting your hair all frizzy, try H2Ocean. It's a sea salt spray, it soaks in on it's own so you don't have to sit there with a bowl on the side of you head. Also, you can take it with you everywhere (the bottle fits in a purse or backpack). It has a small stream, so you can just spray your piercing and not your hair.

*I love H2Ocean, I use it on all my piercings.

So to completely solve your problem...a head band and H2Ocean.

I would still do a sea salt soak once a day though, maybe at night before your go to bed and take a shower in the morning before you go to school.

  3. Try straightening you hair, then pin it back. And put gel or something in it to keep it like that.

  4. You could try using bobby pins to get the stray hairs away from it. Hope this helps!
