How to keep my hair straight all day long??

my mum doesn't let me buy any thermal protection sprays, even though i know i should use one.

my hair is nearly shoulder length and i am trying to grow it out. i got bored of having the same old ponytail every day so i decided to straighten it. i blow dry it straight and use flat irons and my hair looks nice. i like in Spain nd after 30 minutes in the sun the back of my hair at the bottom sticks out, and my hair just looks a mess.

how can i keep my hair straight all day every day without having to straighten it every hour or so.

thanks for any suggestions,

  1. Try using pomade. It can be found in any store like CVS, Walgreens etc. It's waxy so you just need a little. Just put a little on your palm and rub it around. Start with the longest, thickest part of your hair first and do the top of your hair last. Too much and your hair will look greasy. Just rub it in your hair like your straigtening your hair with your fingers.

  2. Can you use a normal hold hairspray? Thermal protection sprays just stop your hair from being damaged by the straighteners. To stop your hair flicking out you need a product that will hold the style in.

I don't understand why your mum won't let you use the thermal protection spray, does she want you to have damaged hair?

  3. Put powder init.
