  1. pedialyte can help but with a gerd baby it can also make them spit up or irritate them.  We were told just to give our baby small feedings throughout the day to make sure that they got more fluid.  Also as long as there is any urine at all in an 8 hour period they are ok.  


  2. If you are truly concerned for your infants hydration status then he  needs to be seen by a MD.

    Although with the feedings you can help by burping frequently, keeping child upright for a half hour after the feedings, offer smaller amounts more frequently. If on formula change formula to see if it helps (call MD they will help you choose the best formula) try medications like zantac, reglan, prevacid. If BF try to decrease your amount of diary intake.  

  3. pedalyte in the  bottle. monitor urine output. if no urine in 6 hours. call your ped immediatey!
