How to keep my insurance from being stolen.?

ii was in a car accident about a year ago.

The insurance company took so long debating if they should let me claim my health money because the person that hit us won't pay up.They finally decided to let the insurance of the persons car we were in to pay, but ii don't trust that person.

I've known this person for a long time and ii know that she will rip me off.Let me be a bit clearer.

They can't get their insurance money without me signing the paper either.If ii don't sign they won't get the money.

Having known them for so long ii know that if that weren't the case they would've just taken all the money and not contacted me.ii talked to the owner of the vehicle we wrecked in she tried to bullshit with me (excuse my language) saying that when ii sign the paper it will take a couple of months before ii can get the money.She also stated that i can't send the check to my own address and that it has to be sent to her and then given to me by money orders. Is there any way i can avoid her?

Get in touch with the insurance company your self, get the facts from them. If your name is on the check with theirs you need to be with them when they cash it. If they have already got it and forged your name, they could be in a heap of trouble.
