  1. haha. you're totally understood. it's scary to make change and might i add, very admirable. the first day of school just hang out with your old lunch group, just to get into the flow of things. gradually separate yourself. and if that girl comes to hang out with the same crowd then ignore her when you can, but give a smile every once in a while just to create less drama...remember that these are only your high school years and that you are in control of everything that goes on around. you can change things in a blink of an eye if felt you desperately needed to. you're going to be okay. just make a plan.

  2. Don't worry about it so much.  Making friends is basically a c**p shoot anyways.  However; if you worry then you will lose the c**p shoot regardless.

  3. I know you've heard this 100 times, but high school will be over before you know it.

If its possible to blame the schedule change on the school, go for it. If someone confronts you about it, say something like, "I know its a change for us all, but I like it better here, anyway. Have you met so-and-so?"

If its making friends you are worried about, just be yourself. The good thing about high school is there is always something to bring up in coversation. "Have you ever had Ms. Jones for Science?"  "Did you watch the Olympis last night?"

Jump in, but be independent. Friends are great, and we all need them, but always remember that you don't HAVE to have the ones sitting next to you in Biology.

Join some groups, even if it isn't in school (for example, community projects, churches, etc.) to make new contacts.

And, to calm down... spend a short period of time planning what you will wear, how you will do your hair, etc.

Not that looks matter, but when we are confident, we feel our best. And when we feel our best we are less worried about things around us.

Good luck! And whatever happens, happens!

  4. remember: worrying won't change anything! in fact, it will make things seem a lot more complicated than they really are.

so don't worry, if you believe it will work out, it probably will, its all up to you! keep a positive attitude :) i used to be very anxious about those stuff when i was your age.. now im 18... anyways, i pushed myself and realized hey, everyone is different and weird in some way [i used to think i was weird or something lmao] and they arent all that different or better than me, or you.
