  1. well get some strinth and get back in the game

  2. First of all can I just say that having a loud, strong team captain really helps keep the team up-beat.

Try playing drills that are fast paced so you don't have time to think the mistakes you made in the last rally. It helps, but every team gets down sometimes.

Make sure that if you're on the court and someone makes a mistake that no one groans, no matter how stupid the mistake was! Nothing, as you may know, feels worse than knowing you made a stupid mistake and having your team mates remind you of that. Stupid mistakes need the most cheering, and the least groaning and complaining!

    Stay positive!

  3. just keep saying it's not over yet, because it isn't!  :D  I have the exact same problem as you!

  4. You should make up a pump up cheer and smile a lot and try to make jokes our team has the same problem we all go "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHWOOOOOOOHHH" and have a little dance it  gets our spirits up every time

  5. well just make sure that the coaches attittude isnt bringing everyone down.

and cheer for the team and maybe practice a lilttle more.

  6. If you get this answered, I would sure LOVE to know. All the teams that I've played for have this same problem...

I usually end up yelling more(encouraging-of course) but that doesn't really seem to work because everybody is off in their own little world, maybe the answer is to really know your team and trust them before even lacing up your shoes so in the harder times you can completely trust that everyone will do their job to the best of their ability.

  7. get a big hit or block it really helps pump the team up again

  8. hang out together more to become closer and make sure everyone is encouraging usually someone will need to step up and be a team leader.

  9. I know its tough to stay hyped up esp. when you give up a point to the other team towards the end of the game.  But on my high school team and even my college team now... after EVERY play no matter if it's the beginning of the game or the end... everyone on the floor has to slap hands (sounds dumb but it's not).

Usually after you lose a point no one comes together and says "it's alright, let's get the next one" they just kind of stand or walk to their spot and not say anything.

After EVERY point everyone on the floor needs to high five, slap hands, do something to encourage every player and show them that there still is a chance you all can pull out this win!

    Hope this helps! =)
