  1. I'm sorry, but I've never been able to fully do that. I think as humans we get absorbed in our problems tragedies, regardless of what we do.

  2. it is very, very hard to keep your mind positive after hearing bad news, but what i try to do is hear the bad news, let myself feel it and then try to gather myself and my emotions and start positive talk, i don't block out my true feelings, but at the same time, i try not to let them over take me either.......say if you hear news someone died, it's ok to burst out crying or to freak out a bit, but then you have to collect yourself and i find that believing in God and that there is a higher power that loves and cares about us helps me to think more positively.  keeping your mind positive doesn't we walk about like happy smiling robots, it means feeling your emotions, letting them out, but not letting them control your life.....if someone dies you aren't supposed to be happy about it obviously, but at the same time you don't allow yourself to get so low and so depressed that you allow yourself to fall ill, you realize it's an awful thing, but people do die, accidents do happen, and reminding yourself that life does go on.   that's the best i can tell you

  3. it is always hard when you get bad news, but it is good to think about it and have a good cry, that is a release valve.then spend some time with a pet if you have one, groom and play with them.if you haven't got a pet then go for a walk, take in the nature around you.the beautiful trees, the sky and clouds,if you live in the city the beautiful building and surroundings that may tower over you.there is an old saying a trouble shared is a trouble halved, have you got a friend you can rely on one that comes to you with their troubles, then get in contact with them.it might do you good to talk about it,it might help you get it off your chest.you see different things work for different people.it depends what will work for you.does anything i have said sound right for you.i hope things do get better for you and time does always heal, good luck i hope you find the right thing somewhere in my answer.

  4. Basically, it's completely based on controlling (or should I say fooling ?) yourself. You can always maintain a healthy, positive attitude if you concentrate on doing so. It's a general misconception the mood is based on what's happening around you..essentially, you control your mood. If you hear bad news, try looking on the bright side...maybe you can learn something from it, or who knows, maybe later you will find out that it was better the way it happened. If you have to face a contest, a test, or any other stressful situation, take a deep breath, say: "I can do it!", and you'll get rid of the stress, and perform better (repeat if needed). So, in conclusion, good mood can be learned, and can be practiced. All you need to do is to try to feel good. Also, always look for the bright. These should get you through any problems :)
