How to kill fleas on 3 cats and 1 dog?

our animals have had fleas for 3 years and we cannot get rid of them

we have tried all of the vet prescribed pills

and we have used frontline

we shampoo them also

nothing seems to work!

what do you suggest we do or use home remedies or anything!!!???!!!

Have you cleaned the house, the bedding and everything else?

If not, you are just cleaning up your dog/cat to place him back in an unclean environment.

You will have to thoroughly clean your house.It probably needs to be fumigated.As for the animals I've heard that giving them a bath with regular Dawn dish washing detergent gets rid of the fleas.Just make sure not to get it in their eyes.

wash them in original pert plus...and put front line drops on neck evey month only thing that works and wash all there bedding and buy sparay and spray carpet and all surfaces they lay on....

You also have to treat the environment that your pets are in. If there are fleas in your yard, carpet, furniture, etc. they will continue to get on your pets.

Since it has been 3 years now the fleas have infested your house, so every time you get rid of the fleas on your pets, as soon as they are in the house for about 4 days, the fleas will be back on them! You need to get your house treated for fleas.

mst likely, you have the yard and the house infested with fleas:contact a local pest control, ask them, to give you a quote on treating the place.The dogs and cats can be treated with advantage.

The house and yard needs something more serious:a fogger or "Bomb".

You may have a heavy infestation of fleas. The best thing to do is you have to rid the fleas in the house or the shampoo will not work.
