If possible I would like to kill them in a organic way, if there is not, then will have to look at all options.

You can purchase Japanese Beetle traps at stores such as Lowes and Home Depot. The trap has a pheromone in it that attracts the beetles and then traps them. While it is not strictly organic as the pheromone is created by man, you don't have to spray anything on the tree itself so their is that.
