How to kill mosquito larvae in sink drain?

I have found that the sink in my garage has mosquito larve, what can I do to kill them? Can I just pour bleach down that drain, or will that not kill them? Help!

  1. bleach kills everything


  2. Pour vegetable oil (about a 1/4 cup) down the drain then cover drain. Veg. oil floats to the top snuffing off oxygen to the larvae

  3. Mosquito larva are relatively easy to kill - hot water would be the most eco-friendly way.  Then go to the hardware store and get a rubber stopper to plug the drain when its not in use to keep the bugs from laying eggs in the drain trap.

  4. bleach will work.

  5. CHEMICALS! So much bug spray is made from chemicals. I don't see another way to kill the larvae
