How to knit/crochet the Batman Symbol?

Question

I want my sister to make me a black scarf with the yellow symbol cut out. She can both knit and crochet but can't find any books that would help her. The problem is getting the points and oval shape. Here is the picture of what I want. Anyone know how to do it?

You can go to a crafts store and they sell lots of books that can help you with that or just goggle it

I can graph it for you.  Then it will have to be counted for each color change.  I've done this for UK, UL and IU logo afghans and some other ideas are on http://www.geocities.com/ldiznemom/count...  If you're interested in getting this pattern, let me know.

What about using intarsia?
