How to knit legwarmers on a round knifty knitter loom?

Ok so I'm making legwarmers, just like you would make a beanie and they are long enough now I just don't know how to take them off without it coming undone.

take a crochet hook and chain 1, single crochet in the loop on the post, chain 1 single crochet in the next loop. all the way around.

I had to find out how to do this myself because none of the instructions were at all clear. or even said how to take the thing off the loom.

Leave 3 feet of yarn at the end and thread the needle on and you start at the first peg and go up and over continuing til you go all the way around plus 6 pegs. Then you can take it off and then weave the remaining yarn into the leg warmer ;)))
