How to knit second row? help me if you can!?

I'm trying to learn how to knit and i need some help... i cant figure out how to make a second row! so far i haven't found any websites that say how to do it without using the words "repeat step 1- _". i wanna learn how but i cant figure it out. HELP!

Put the needle that has the sts in your left hand, empty needle in your right and knit the sts.  There is no trick to making a second row, you just turn your work.
