  1. Look for guns in the hidden compartments.

  2. go to the dmv but make sure you have cab fare just in case.

  3. You should never buy a car without a title. The owner could come back and say you do not own it. If they said they lost it, they should have gotten a duplicate from a title agency before selling it to you. Anyway, take it to the Department or Bureau of motor vehicles and have them run the VIN # (located on your dashboard, visible through your windshield). You also could call your local police non-emergency # and tell them what happened and ask them if they can give you information. When/if you call them, make sure you have that VIN#. Honestly, I would call the police first.

Why did the person you bought it from not have the title?

  4. You cannot "buy" a car without a title.  You didn't buy the car, you just gave someone some money.  You don't own it.  You can't own it until you receive a merchantable title to the car.  If it really was stolen, then you have to give it back, and suffer the loss.  Never fork over a red cent for a vehicle until you have a valid, legal title for it in your hands
