Does anyone know how can you tell if you got a job or not after the second interview? They said they'd call me back to let me know about their decision is this generally bad? They say they usually give you the spot on the job on the second interview but this business also told me they'd call me back for a second interview and after some days they did give me the second interview, I really don't know If the interview went well or not 'cause the inteviewer was talking and talking, I had to interrupt him to talk about myself. thye also gave me a little test to fill out...what do you think? will they call me back? did I get the job? thanks!

  1. If you got it they will call you.

  2. Give them a week to call you back, then give up.

In the meantime, continue your job search.

Never pin all of your hopes on one job.

    Good luck.

  3. You will know when they offer you the job.

I don't know where you got your information about the second interview and being hired on the spot.  I don't see that as the case. Some places will call you for even a third interview.

The biggest thing to look for - did they call your references before or after? If they called after, they are definitely considering you for the position.

If you haven't already sent them a thank you note, do so IMMEDIATELY.  Follow up with them in a few days, asking when you might hear about the position.

Finally, don't let the suspense stop you from continuing the job search.  If they feel you are the best person for the job, they will hire you.  If not, it probably just means they feel that another person is better, not that they feel you wouldn't be good.

  4. naturally it's my experience.

  5. we r the wrong people to ask, call the person you interviewed with and ask him/her
