"a network connected to a router, and you want to know which websites that the users inside the network is connected to" that's exactly what i want

my router is a "Conexant Hasbani"

  1. I'll assume that you have a network connected to a router, and you want to know which websites that the users inside the network is connected to.

    this is usually done trough the router CLI ( command line interface) you should telnet to the router and it depends which barns you are using you should find a command like " show connections".

  2. Ummm...the question isn't too clear but I'll give it a shot. I'f you're trying to monitor which sites are being accessed by users under your router then you will need a computer that is in the network in such a way that it has visibility to all traffic (hub maybe). If you're trying to see what your router is connected to upstream then try doing a traceroute. On linux: "traceroute google.com" or something. This will list most (if not all) devices between you and google.
