How to learn guitar quickly?

I want to learn how to play guitar quickly outside of my typical guitar lessons, any good advice on how to do so? Also I have lyrics how do I learn how to make good songs for my lyrics?

Well i would advice you start with some easy chords or fingering.  E, B, G etc. or you could learn frets either one is great i taught myself how to play guitar when i first starting off but i needed a little help so i went on this website http://www.zentao.com/guitar/guitar-less... it works great and helps you with easy stuff one you learn the basic chors and frets you can mix it up a little when you get better.

and for your second question add some new style little rythem and beat like maybe some rock or you can take some of your favorite songs and mix it up with your music

To start off, just learn a few easy chords: G, D, Cadd9, C, and Em. Look them up online. With these few, you are one your way to many different songs. Take it a little slow at first because you will have to learn to coordinate both hands. Make sure to put you fingers closest to the frets. After learning these chords, look up "time of your life" on e-chords.com by green day for your first song. listen carefully to the song and play along when you are ready.

as for making good songs, you can make them with these chords when you learn them. let your heart create the music for the lyrics you've writen down. good luck!

You should start off by learning how to play the different chords and get them down good. Many songs only use 3 chords. Knowing them would make it so easy. And with making up a song you could just pick like 3 or 4 random chords like ABDG and just use those and start jamming!! :)
