How to leave united center chicago without a car safely?

hello, i'm a french tourist in Chicago in october-november, i'm planning to buy tickets for madonna, but i read a lots of bad critics about the neigborough of united center, can i leave easily and safely to me hotel by metro or taxi? thank you

  1. It's not a good neighborhood. Have a cab waiting for you when you think you'll be ready to leave.


  2. It's getting nicer but still kind of dumpy not very nice. There should be cabs, you could also call a cab or limo

  3. If you're going to a major concert at the United Center, you don't have to worry too much about safety. There will be a gazillion other people, cops all around, etc. Just catch a cab or even ride the bus down Madison Street to and from the show. Other people going to the show will be riding the bus as well. Stop worrying, it's no big deal.

  4. yeah its really not a good neighborhood.

    you should just arrange for a taxi to pick you up. i think that would be your safest bet. and besides, the concert wouldn't get out until late and you really wouldn't want to be getting on the bus with a lot of people at that time of night, you  know?
