How to let students and teachers know about my education portal?

I and my friends enjoy teaching students for free. We teach students in neighbourhood and also in the families of friends and relatives. But, to reach more students, I have started a web site. Students can get help from that web site for free. Those who are knowledgeable and want to help others can contribute. As of now, I have put Physics and Mathematics of undergraduate level and also computer science. As per demand, I will add more later. It is completely free and people from anywhere in the world can benefit from it.

My question is: -

How do I let more and more people know about this?

  1. Hello, Somu -

My compliments to you on your site, and on your commitment to learning and the future!

If you're in the  greater Washington, DC / Baltimore region, you can probably post your information on GeotreesCom, "an independent, intercultural crossroads on line for knowledge, understanding, reconciliation and peace," completely free of charge.  The site has several useful pages, including the GeoLinks page, and several email groups that reach the same kind of people you do.  The focus is on the national capital region, so that readers, starting with the net and the site, can meet and work together in person.

If you're out of the area, see if there's anyone close by doing the same kind of work!  Yahoogroups is full of good contacts, as is Meetup.Com, and a well-worded search might help.  Also, established empowerment and interfaith groups might be able to offer some leads.

Sounds like good work!  Hang in there -
