How to list it on ebay and if I find a renter,then, how do you write up a rental agreement for a Timeshare?

I would like to rent out my Timeshare, the best, safest and cheapest way. This is coming up in September week of 12-19 and it is in Palm Springs, a very nice resort. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you do not know the legalities, I would suggest hiring a realtor and or a lawyer to write it up for you..

To rent  a timeshare is a hard task, the basic rule is not to pay money up-front, don’t be another victim of a scam.

Unfortunately over 50% of people that really need to rent their timeshare falls for this rent scams where they charge money upfront and less than 10% of them use their only real option wich is to post it or offer it trough free advertising options as much, and as many sites as they can (it is ok to pay a few dollars to post in a great place but no more that $20 to $30).

The process couldn't be easier. When you get a tenant, you will give them the keys and they will give you the rent money. That's all.  To be safe, you write a short agreement on a plain piece of paper.  When will he move in. move out.  how clean will he leave it.  what if he leaves it dirty.  what if he isn't out on time.

Get paid in cash.  Even cashiers checks are suspect today. I am a landlord.  It's easy.

as you can see they tried to rent out a week in "palm springs" and started the bid at $1.00

and had no success.

there is 59 listings at present in "ebay.com" for california rental time share..

so your problem...is finding someone...............

price of gas and such..people just are not travelling..

you could try 'craigs list" which is a "free ad"
