I'm not sure what you're asking; but speeches often have written transcripts available.  It's easy enough since orators these days more often than not have speech-writers who, at some point, have to write the speech down so the speaker can read it. Also these speeches are often given at multiple campain stops, not unlike how standup comics re-use a bit that works at different venues.  That in turn helps that bloggers and campaign watchers frequently transcribe what they hear for the masses.

    Check the speakers web-site.  Or, do a general search on the event you were at, location, date, and speaker.  At the least there may be something on youtube or some such for a video instant replay.
