How to lock the keyboard?

I really need to know if there is a way to lock the keyboard to my desktop computer. My baby likes to crawl up on it and push the buttons. Today she turned my whole desktop upside down, which in turn made the mouse work backwards. Other times she finds things on there that we never even knew existed. Please Help!!!!!

  1. Assuming you're using Windows...

The easiest way would be to change your screen saver settings to require a password. Right click on your desktop and select Properties. From the Screen Saver tab click of 'On resumme password protect."

Now when you leave your computer unattended the screen saver will come on and can only be released by entering your Windows Login password. It's very unlikely your baby will be able to hit those keys by accident.

  2. not sure which operating system you are using. If it is windows, use ctrl + alt + delete to lock the machine when you are not arround.

Your baby cannot unlock until knows ur password. And so no more messing with your desktop.

  3. Click on the Windows key, then L.  You'll then go to the log in screen and if you have a password, you'll need it to log in.  See the reference.
