How to lock the signal strenght on Direct Tv?

My reciever's strength signal is low but when i switch it transponder 4 its almost 100%.How can i lock it to transponder 4 .

You can't lock onto individual transponders. Each transponder only holds a certain number of channels that you can watch.

What you'll need to do is some in-depth troubleshooting. You can call 1-800-531-5000 and talk with someone in the Technical department who will walk you through diagnosing your problem. You can also visit DirecTV's user-to-user forum (meaning no employees, only people who know a lot about the system and satellite technology) on the website (www.directv.com then click Troubleshooting and then Tech Help Forum) and they'll gladly walk you through everything.
