How to login to OSX leopard w/out password?

I forgot my password and my master password. is there any way i can login to OSX leopard without one of them?

I'm not really sure but I have the 24" iMac, and I've forgotten my password once, I just put in the regular install cd's, restart the computer while holding the option key till the screen comes up and allows you to pick booting from different hard drives or the disc, than boot from the disk and in a sense do a system restore.
