  1. they are best kept in a large tub. roses like clay better than soil.i feed mine once every month with roses feed,it keeps them healthy.roses attract green fly,the best thing for that is cold tea, just save it up all day and pour it over it last thing at night(about 9 at night).hope this helps.xx

  2. whether you decide to keep it in a container or plant it out into a flower bed the looking after remains the same, feed it a good fertiliser i.e. miracle grow or a tomato food once a week and spray it fortnightly with a pesticide for greenfly and other harmful pests and you should end up with a beautiful rosebush, happy gardening.

  3. I have a lot of rose bushes in my front and back yard, and i usually feed them once a week with miracle grow, and after they bloom and the blooms start dying, cut them off your bush, above the first five leaf cluster you see....that will make them bloom a whole lot more.  I use a rose spray for bugs and stuff, any that are for roses, just read the package, and i do that once a month or so.  Any bad branches, dying leaves, remove them from the plant so as not to spread any diseases, and burn them, or take them away.  Hope this helps!!
