How to look good at the beach?

I obviously don't want to pile on a ton of makeup because it will just wash off or melt off but I wanna look decent

And what to do for my hair (something low maintenance

For your makeup, you're right. You wont want to wear foundation, maybe if you needed to, you could try a tinted moisturizer. But, I would recommend just wearing sunscreen on your face.

Be careful with eyeliner/mascara. Wear a little, but check if its waterproof, especially mascara. I would wear eyeliner on the top of your eye, and get a good waterproof mascara and just wear a slick of that, and I think you will look gorgeous!

For your hair, I would recommend just leaving it down. The salt water will give it a gorgeous texture and it should look lovely and beachy.

ok so go light make up. If you outline your eye from the inside with eyeliner it will look good in the water and it shouldn't run. As far as mascara I never use water proof, but that's my personal opinion. I would just put enough to make my eyelashes stand out.  Eye shadow is not a good idea. As far as your hair you probably want to weart it natural because too much hair products will make it look gross when you get out of the water. You should put a like hair treatment in it and let it dry naturaly so when you get out of the water it will look nice. Sorry so long i just go to the beach a lot lol hope this helps

For makeup, you would want to wear something like waterproof liquid eyeliner and waterproof mascara so it won't come off. Don't forget to wear sunscreen/sunblock as well!
