How to look on another comp using there IP address?

trying to access my mums computer through her IP address any ideas how i go about doing it and what software if any i need to use

Get TightVNC On Both Computers. Then Get The Externernal IP And Then Connect

if u know the ip address then u can ping to see if on the network or internet, there are a few things but depends how ur connected, if over a network then VNC or Remote PC,

however sure windows has a remote desktop which u can setup but not too sure how thou

Eneter the ip and teh credential then connect

There are couple lot of procedures for this, I can tell u something I know

first, u have to know your Mum's comp's IP address. u can do this by typing ipconfig in a command prompt in your Mum's comp. then come to your comp and open a command prompt and ping Mum's IP adress, if the network is working fine, u will get messages. then do this, Start->Run, then type your Mum's IP address starting with "\\" you should be able to browse Mum's machine, and u can see files only which are shared..

Assuming you have yours mums permission, you could just use remote assistance.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > Communications
