I don't know how or where the DOB would come in handy, but if you have the last name and the town (or at least the name of the province, i.e. Bretagne, Aquitaine, or wherever this person is located), you might find your old pal here: http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/trouverunnom/R... (By the off-chance that translations are necessary, "Nom" = last name, "Prénom" = first name, and "Localité" = town. "Adresse" and "Département ou région" should be self-explanatory, and are not mandatory, though they help if you have them.
