I'm 5'4", 112 lbs and have a small body frame. I can maintain this weight eating junk and getting little exercise, probably due to genetics/fast metabolism. However, I've noticed that my body is starting to get a bit flabby and untoned. How do I lose fat, not weight?

  1. You need to tone your body. Walking is a good all round toner. If it is the tummy area, try a few sit ups every morning or even during Eastenders! Another good one is bike riding. I am exactly the same as you and i find all of these worked with me. Good luck!

  2. I found this on this website.

There are more tips and info.

    Search: http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oG...

    good lucky!

  3. weight training and a HEALTHY diet... skip the cardio, it will boost your metabolism for the time of the cardio and plus, cardio is boring.. do some weight training... it will tone your muscles and keep your metabolism fired up for about 48 hours after a hard session of weight training (burn more calories and lose fat while you sleep!!)... you can also try High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) which is where you would do hill sprints (up a hill) or normal sprints for about 1 minute, take a 1 minute brake, then for  45 seconds, with a 45 srecond brake, then for 30 seconds with a 30 second brake, then repeat a couople of times (VERY VERY HARD and exhausting, but will burn lots of fat)

  4. one word: exercise! oh yes and that can be anything at all as long as you're not sitting on your bum.

  5. Eat a lot pineaples and rocket salad/ watercresp.

They are cleaning up your stomack, good for digestion problems, and consequently, burn fat.

    .

  6. Light cardio and weight lifting.

  7. turn fat into toned muscle by doing weights and stomach crunches etc etc.

  8. To lose fat you have to lose weight as it weighs something. However, building up more muscle will make your more toned and muscle weighs more than fat so it will counterbalance. So exercise is the answer. Many peple ar elikely to tell you that fat turns to muscle when you exercise. This is no accurate but it can develop as you lose fat and gives this impression.
