How to lose some weight??

i'm not really "fat", and i put fat in quotaions because i think saying someone is fat is pretty rude.

but anyways, i am not fat, but i do have some belly fat, and i'm not sure if it's because i havent grown yet, and my weight is right for my age, or if it's because when i was younger, i chugged sodas and ate candy and junk food 24/7.

well, i'm a sophmore in school, and i'm tired of having belly fat. i mean, i don't want to be a toothpick, but i do want to be healthier. i have cut out all soda, but on occasions i have a little bit. i rarely eat junk/fast food.

i'm in marching band, and we run 3 laps around the field everyday. plus the marching for 2-3 hours.

do you think that if i eat better, actually run those 3 laps and march my hardest, plus on the weekends or after practice try doing crunches/yoga/and whatnot, do you think i could lsim down some? i'm very short, and i've thought maybe i haven't grown, and yet i'm at my limited weight, so that's why i have belly fat, but i'm not sure!

do you think doing some crunches every nite will help get rid of the belly fat, or no? because i've heard crunches just tone your tummy.

  1. Crunches won't target belly fat. All it will do is tone your stomach muscles. If you want a flat stomach, you have to lower your total bodyfat. The only way to do that is to consume less calories or burn more calories.  There are no tricks that work. It's all exercise and diet.
