I recently had a baby but need to lose the pounds quick does anybody know how?

  1. whats the rush, it took you 40 weeks to put on the weight expect at least double the time to get it all off, as for the first 6 weeks as your body is healing the best thing you can do is breastfeed, take walks, and do the bun and thigh pilates. After you get the go ahead from your doctor that you are healed from labour, go swimming, do cardio, go speed walking down a trail a few times a week. If you sweat your loosing the pounds, drink lots of water and try to avoid sugar.

  4. Eat right, drink plenty of water, and do exercises.   Look in your area to see if they have any mommy baby gyms also, those are always good and helps mothers connect with the baby more.

  5. if you loose it quick you will gain it back....so diet (means eat right) and exercise.  take your baby for a walk, the fresh air is good for them too!!!

  6. a friend of mine lost alot of the weight by hitting the treadmill everyday and doing a mile or so. Then they did a bunch of situps and pushups...like starting of with 10 each and working you way up to about 100 over time and doing it at your own pace.

    If thats too much however, there's this exercise she did where u bring ur left elbow to touch ur right knee, and vice versa....just keep doing those and it should get rid of some of the baby weight

  7. Nursing will make the pounds melt off, and you really don't have to diet. Actually, you shouldn't. Just do some exercises and eat sensibly. Keep drinking lots of water. If you aren't breastfeeding, then eat a light breakfast of a rice cereal and milk and either a light lunch, normal dinner or normal lunch light dinner. You don't really need to skip your meals, just lighten them. Keep on exercising, and especially concentrate on the problem areas. For me it was my belly and thighs, so I've been doing extra leg lifts and crunches. Aerobic exercises will tone everything up and keep you feeling good, so do alot of those.

  12. well jog every morning and night it'll show that you lost like thirty pounds i did that and now i could go to the beach with a bikini on haha

  13. I lost almost all my baby weight from walking my babies we walked miles! Not only is it good for the babies but I lost a lot of my weight. You can also go on a healthy diet. My sister went to the gym once a week but she was able to get a babysitter. You can try getting videos if you can't go te the gym. (Or if its worth buying you can get the Wii Fit)
