How to lose weight quick ??

It's not for me but a friend she is going on a last minute holiday she is a size 14 but want's to lose quite a bit of weight how will she do this ??

  1. Hi, i totally understand your friend wanting to lose weight quickly, i've wanted to do it myself before but instead i stuck to a long term diet. I know you've probably heard this alot but you really are better off doing a long term diet. Short term diets work, but i suggest you only go on a short term diet if you only want to be thin for a few days like if your going swimming or something. If you want to do that you should do LOTS and LOTS of exercise per day and have a REALLy healthy diet. but just to let you know, the weight you will have lost is your water weight, not fat.   2. thers no healthy way to lose it really quickly, but she could do lots of excercise to tone up, and just tell her to eat at least 3 healthy meals a day, don't go on any stupid diets they arent good for you!

  3. Get lost in a desert in the middle east for a couple of weeks, that should be a good start.

  4. go  wheat  free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7

    p.m.  People  achieve  marvellous  results  with it. Depending on your

    initial  weight,  you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't eat  wheat  then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don't  eat  junk  food,  and  you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is

    still  balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or to buy special meals or plans.


  5. It's simply not possible. Dieting only makes people lose weight fast at the start due to loss of retained fluids. She will put it straight back on on holiday. It damages your metabolism. i shoudl know, I crash dieted from 14 to 18 and now my weight has rocketed. I wasn't even overweight at that time, wish I hadn't.

    If you really want to lose weight and have a healthy body then you need to do two things. Just two things. They are called EATING HEALTHY AND EXCERCISE!!!!!!!

    First of all you have to eat a healthy diet. This doesn't mean go on a crappy fad diet or starve yourself!!! It means that you make sure you eat 4 or even 5 small to medium meals a day. Each meal, apart from breakfast, (preferably fibre rich with fruit) should have a combination of protien (chicken/fish/soya etc), carbohydrates (pasta/rice/potatoes/etc), and vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (fresh fruit and veg). There are many easy ways to incorporate all these into every meal. This also doesn't mean you can never have pizza/takeaway/chocolate/etc, just save them for the occassional treat.

    Secondly you need to EXCERCISE. Cardio excercise is anything that will get you out of breath, your heart rate pumping and you sweating (running, swimming, cycling, etc) and is necessary for burning calories, shedding body fat and improving your overall fitness levels. Strength training basicaly improves the muscles and tones your body, this comes from weight training, core training (sit ups/planks/etc), stretching (such as yoga) and dynamic training. This is necessary to keep your body strong and supple and will also help you lose weight and tone up.

    This is only an extremely brief overview, but both of these are necessary to lose weight healthily, keep it off, and have a strong healthy body.

  8. dont eat anything at all, this could lead to fainting and will mean putting on more weight than before the attempt. Tell her she's fine and to enjoy the holiday.

  10. Try coffee and nothing else all day everyday.  I has worked for me and once you have not eaten for a day, you stop feeling so hungry and mor in control.  

  11. i am sorry to say there is no quick fix. try telling her she is fine and if she persist tell her not to over do it. just tone her body:

    Stomach: sit upsand leg lifts

    Legs: squats and lunges also geton all fours and left one leg at a time backwards/out.

    Arms: press ups on a wall or light weights.

    if her bodys toned she willlook lean and neat and maybe lose a few pounds in the process. oh and eat healthly an ddrink plenty.
