I am 15 years old girl, height 5ft 2in and weight 105lbs and I want to shed 15lbs before school starts(1 1/2 months). I don't want to spend any money to buy expensive stuff to get thinner. My biggest problem is my butt and thighs is too big. I would really appreciate if you could give some suggestion how to lose weight and fat without gaining muscle. I did some research and most of the answers not just help ppl to lose weight but it gain muscle at the same time. I don't want muscle, I want to be thin and quickly. and if possible in detail and not just the main idea like 'exercise' or 'eat healthy' and so~

  1. You can try following things.

    1. Remove Oil, ghee, butter from Food ( Eat only food without Oil, ghee, butter)

    2. Eat boiled vegetables.

    3. Drink more water.

    4. Eat Cauliflower, cabbage & green vegetables in more quantity.

    5. Walk in Morning & evening daily to 30-40 minute

Try it for 7 days You will see the difference.

  2. Just stick to walking then. It's not going to build muscle but it does burn calories. Try 3,000 more steps a day than what you walk now. You can buy a 5 dollar padometer at Wal-mart to track your steps per day.

  3. You already have muscle, so technically, you can't gain that. Why don't you want toned muscles, even if they are a bit bulky? My guess is because we live in a world in which tall, thin frail-looking women are idolized and considered pretty. I'm six feet tall, 155 pounds. I don't know how many times (even when I've weighed as much as 15 pounds than what I do now) I've been told by women that they wished they could be as thin as me. Sometimes, I think, or even say, depending on my mood, that I wouldn't mind gaining five pounds. (Like now. I weigh 15 pounds less than what I did when my daughter was conceived.) My arm muscles are nice and toned from carrying, picking up, putting down my eleven month old daughter. Carrying her around the grocery store is a work out in itself. However, I don't walk or do anything else the way I should (not even floor yoga poses) and it shows which does effect my health.

If I gain a few pounds and get bulky from in shape muscles, so what? There were plenty of women in the Olympics who weren't skinny simply because they workout daily and have nice muscles to show  for it. They are much prettier than the stick thin models in "Cosmo", "Glamour", "Vogue", etc. who look as though two iceberg lettuce leaves for a meal is about one or one and half too many.

However, if you don't want th bulky look, try yoga and walking. They are great both physically, emotionally and spiritually. I used to do them both before my daughter came along and I miss it. On favorable days, though, if my husband isn't home so I can go alone, I'll put my daughter in her stroller and we'll go out. Somethings better than nothing. Oh, yeah. Try the swings at the park. They're good for the legs. We take our daughter to the local parks and I sit in the swings with her on my lap. We both enjoy it. (Her squeals of sheer delight are better than the physical workout.)

I hope my lecturing has been of some help.

  5. drink 1 litre of mint tea every day

use natural mint leaves, it speeds up your metabolism so you burn fat faster and is great for your skin

it leaves you feeling refreshed and cool and it tastes better than most teas
