Question:

How to love ur body more?

Because sometimes I hate goin out because of my body shape...I just feel my belly is too big n I have fat legs n arms even though I exercise 5 days a week n I feel like i never look good in jeans because of my fat thighs...how do u just accept urself?????? It's like so hard wen ppl say u'd look better if u lost some weight and skinner girls almost always look better in clothes. =(

  1. Give yourself permission:

    I accept and love myself exactly as I am right now.

    Think of all the big women you have known and seen who have loved themselves and been successful despite weight.

    Oprah Winfrew to start with.


  2. Don't worry about what other people think about you. Be proud and confident in your body. It's all the way you carry yourself. There are alot of clothes that you can wear that will make you look proud to have the body you have now. Don't fall for that line "You'd look better if you lost weight." . Tell them "You'd look better if you'd gain weight." then just smile and walk away. Some people are just plain rude. You can look just as good as a "skinny person". There are plenty of clothes to flatter a fuller figure. Been there, done that..for 20 years.  

  3. I'm guessing part of your problem is that you're shopping for clothes in the wrong stores. Junior departments and the like. Of course skinny girls are going to look better in clothes that are made for them.

    And that's probably why you get those comments from people. Not that I'm justifying them.

    So my advice for the now is shop around. Find clothes that actually suit you. They might cost a little more but it's worth it in terms of quality and durability, not to mention how you feel in them.

    A change on the outside can change how you feel inside.


  4. Develop a healthy , well balance diet with an appropriate caloric content for your metabolism and activity level.

    Work out, free weights ,calisthenics , aerobics , running ,bicycling , what ever you enjoy and can stick to.

    You will look better . feel better and be proud of the fact that you have reached or are on your way to making your body one to be proud of.

  5. Who cares what others think?

    Any prick who judges someone only does so because they feel insecure about themselves.

  6. Accepting yourself, not to mention loving yourself, can be very hard when you have a negative view of your body. Believe it or not, skinny people have this problem too. Over time though you'll realize that wishing for the perfect body is just vanity. True friends accept you for who you are inside and not what your appearance is.

    Believe me, if you have a clean sharp mind- people will find you more attractive than a gorgeous idiot. Plain and simple. Just remember, your doing the best you can to take care of yourself and no one should expect more than that.

    Be true to yourself.
